Craig Schoenthaler
Craig and his father opened The Tred Shed in 1982. Craig has been in the tire business for over 25 years, specializing in exceptional customer service. He is actively involved throughout the industry, serving as Tire Pros Dealer Council President from 2000-2004, and on the Board of Directors of the California Tire Dealers & Re-treaders Association. He is an active member of the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Pittsburg Yacht Club. In 2003 Craig received Pittsburg’s prestigious “Businessman of the Year” award.
Craig has 5 kids who all live between the Bay Area and Sacramento. In their spare time, Craig and his wife Vicki enjoy boating on the Delta or traveling around in their motor home.
Kyle Schoenthaler
Kyle Schoenthaler has carried many positions at The Tred Shed and currently serves as General Manager. He has been around the shop his entire life, and has tires in his blood. He is an "ASE/SEMA Certified Custom Tire and Wheel Specialist", "MAST Product Expert" and is "Bridgestone/Firestone Pro Cert" Certified. He also specializes in "Plus Size Fitments" and lowering suspensions. He is always at the counter ready to take care of you.
Kyle lives in Pittsburg with his Fiance Katie and dog Chevelle. In his spare time you'll almost always find him on the water fishing from his boat "Hooked Up". He also attends many racing events and enjoys baseball, and football.

Grant Moore
Grant Moore is the Service Manager at The Tred Shed. He has been in the industry for over 30 years. He spent over 15 years running a large repair shop in Washington, before moving to California and owning his own shop in Walnut Creek for 7 years. He is a Master Technician with thousands of repairs under his belt. Grant and his wife Louise live in Brentwood. In his free time he enjoys fishing, and gardening.
Mike Holt
Mike has been in the tire and automotive business for 33 years including owning his own business for over 22 years. He followed his father into the tire industry. His father sold some of the first Michelin tires in the United states. He learned the industry from the ground up starting as a tire installer working for his father eventually purchasing a business.
He has seen a lot of changes in the automotive industry over the years and has the experience to serve all of your tire and automotive needs.
While in the industry he has served on several industrywide boards including the California and National Tire Dealers Boards of Directors. Mike has also served on the tire pros dealer council for the State of California.
Mike moved his family to the delta area in 2004 and has been working for the Tred Shed since that time.
Mike enjoys camping, running and the warm summers for barbequing with the family. Mike has also served his community for many years as a member of Lion's Clubs International and served as both president of his local club and zone chairman. He also is a life member of the Lion's Eye Foundation of California and Nevada.
Mike has spend his life gaining the experience to serve you for all your tire, wheel and automotive needs.
Vicki Schoenthaler
Vicki joined the Tred Shed team about 15 years ago after the kids were all in school. She does all of the office work and fills in at the counter when necessary. She is an active member of the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce, the Pittsburg Yacht Club, and the former President of the Diablo Valley Mothers of Twins Club. Also known as the Tiregal, Vicki enjoys sewing, crafting, and traveling when not at The Tred Shed. Tiregal and Tredguy have been married over 30 years and are now enjoying their empty nest at the Pittsburg Marina.

Chevelle
Chevelle has worked at The Tred Shed since she was 6 weeks old! She is a former athelete who's career was cut short by an injury. She is in charge of watching the inventory and playing with customers. She enjoys dock jumping, playing fetch, swimming, and eating kibbles. She works everyday from 7:30-5:00, and only complains when she has to go to the bathroom. When not at work, she comes home with Kyle.
Sally Sue
Sally Sue joined the Schoenthaler family recently and has become the Tred Shed Office Dog. She enjoys greeting customers, getting petted, and sitting around looking cute. Sally is a mother of 7 puppies that were born in Craig & Vicki’s RV on the way home from Sacramento. Even though the puppies are at their new homes now, sometimes they come to visit, so stop by and see them. Bring treats!
